The 12 Days of Christmas - Day 3 by ThatOneNPC The 12 Days of Christmas - Day 3 by ThatOneNPC
Their like the Weasleys with their matching ugly christmas sweaters.

Question of the Day: What are some of your favorite holiday traditions? I've always wanted to do the whole ugly sweater thing, but I could never get my family into it. What can you do?

Happy Saturday!

I used to love opening present, and still do, but now I like being able to see my relatives, since I only see them about twice a year.

Mine is having my two sisters sleep in my trundle bed, and we all wake up early and look in the stockings :P

Mine is waking up earlier than anyone else in my family, going to look at my stocking, then doing whatever until everyone else wakes up about an hour later.

My favorite Holiday tradition is probably Christmas Eve dinner when my mom makes seafood risotto and we eat it by candlelight. :)

I love LucahJin XD this seems like the argument from Jon's subscriber night stream where all the girls that came on (including myself) got deemed by chat "LucahJin" even Jon, but even the real Lucah didn't want to be Lucah XD

Holiday traditions? Well, my mom sister and I do one of those search-for-a-special-ornament-and-you-get-the-special-present, we open 1 present on Christmas Eve, and we /obviously/ attempt to guess our presents before hand. Then I spend the rest of the day in a bubble of happiness until dragged off to the family party at my grandparent's house.

I knew you'd incorporate the number four arguement somehow! :iconamericaxdplz:

I guess, for a tradition, my mother's side of the family and I always watch a random movie someone got from christmas. My cousins and I, however, 'inspect' the presents when everyone is in another room. One time my aunt walked in while we were looking at the presents, and she actually joined in. :D
On my fathers side we play a game where you need to draw something within a certain time limit (usually fifteen to twenty seconds). It's like charades, but /a lot/ funnier. Because you have such a short time to draw, your sketches come out looking like Emile's drawing of the Pirate's Fortress in his Majora's Mask playthrough and never seem to look like what you attempted to draw in the first place. The guessing is hilarious, and it's just a great joy to play because it's so ridiculous. :XD:

Nice! I've wanted to try the ugly sweater thing, but I've never had one nor do I like long sleeves and things too close to my neck. My favorite tradition is going to my grandmother's house for a Christmas Eve party!

My favourite tradition is on Boxing Day where cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents would all gather under one roof and play video games together until late into the night. But now we don't do that anymore, everyone's grown up. My Christmas wish this year is to get to do that tradition once more before I'm grown up. ...just once more...

How adorable...
Favourite holiday tradition....I'd have to say helping my grandparents decorate their tree...because it is a tradition to have ∆bleskiver when decorating the tree in Denmark. My Grandfgma carried over the tradition when she moved tonCanads and yeah.
(btw, ∆bleskiver is a Danish baked good, alot like a pancake, but a ball. They are really good with syrup and icing sugar)

One of my favorite holiday traditions is singing carols with my family, when we sit by the tree on Christmas Eve and get our presents. (In Denmark we celebrate and get presents on Christmas Eve.) Or not even singing carols... just sitting there, listening to some quiet music, looking at the lit tree and knowing everything is just as it should be... it is wonderful.
Another favorite tradition is helping my mom make the dessert: rice pudding, made on full milk, mixed with chopped almonds, lots of vanilla and a ton of whipped cream. It's fun, calming and the end result is one of the best things about the entire holiday.

Christmas eve with everyone, Christmas with the family.

Been that way for years, and will continue to be that way till the day I die.
